Weekly Homework
Below is an outline of homework you should expect your child to have each week. Homework should take approximately 40 minutes. Students should also be reading at least 20 minutes each night. It is always best to check your child's agenda for homework for any given night.
Math- Expect 2 pages (front to back) from the Go Math! practice book Monday-Thursday night. The front reinforces the skill/strategy taught that day, the back is a mixed review of previous lessons
Reading- Reading/Vocabulary log: should be completed throughout the week and handed in on Friday morning
Word Study (spelling)- suggested nightly activities to help with spelling practice. Look for the below instructions to come home each week.
Science/Social Studies- there may be occasional science and/or social studies homework
